Project Age of Honor- Boots and Gauntlets Separates

This is a new project that (if I ever get off my lazy bum and complete it) will do for Klingon uniforms what Project 2395 did for Starfleet uniforms. Eventually, I intend to make two or three uniform sets in all the same commonly used sizes (AM, ATH, LBB, SBB, BB, HBB, AF, FM, FitChick, Sussi, Rio, CPU, TF, TM, and TLBB), plus armor accessories, weapons, insignia, and so on.

NixNivis is an old friend, and I've always adored the Klingon uniforms she created oh so long ago. With her permission, I've extracted the boots and gauntlets from the original meshes and refoobulated them into accessories for variously-sized sims.

10/2 Important Update: I fixed the specularity issue on the TXMT. The boots are now much less shiny and more realistically textured. Please re-download.

The mesh has been tweaked to work with Maxis blockfeet. It works well with nude meshes for creating skin tight outfits. I haven't done a whole lot of testing, but I'm sure that it can be combined with other clothing as well. There are minor clipping issues with the larger boot sized (Size 3 and 4) when the sim is moving the legs at sharp angles (such as when running).

Project Age of Honor is made with a custom Body Shop icon and has its own category in the catalog. The icon goes in your Downloads folder. The new accessories appear in your catalog AFTER the standard custom content.

Here are the downloads. Enjoy.

  1. Wow! You've really given that old mesh of mine new life! :D These look great, all of them - and I love that they come in so many different sizes. And of course, the custom icons are the icing on the cake. Can't wait to see what you'll do next!

    1. Thanks you kindly. This project would never have been possible without the original meshes, nor if you hadn't taken the time to teach this ham-fisted object maker how to make accessories. :)

As with the Starfleet uniforms, what I'm going for is versatility; eventually, I'll make a few different uniform textures in a variety of common body sizes that can be mixed and matched with gauntlets, boots, high collars, shoulder-thingies, and sashes.

    2. (Sorry for the late reply, I completely forgot to check back!)

Nah, I'm not sure how good a teacher I was, but I'm glad if I could help. You definitely seem to have it off pat now! I'm greatly looking forward to the next instalment. :)
