Combate Moderno- Suministros Pt. 2

Happy Friday, everybody.

Intro in English:

First, a huge apology for taking so long to develop Combate Moderno. I'm doing my best to update several project series, and so I don't always get to this one in a timely manner. Hopefully, this will change soon as I get some new object and uniform sets out.

Suministros Pt. 2 is the second of a few posts featuring random military supplies. I converted the Maxis AM/AF military outfits to several popular bodyshapes using Lifa's WSO actions, and made a set of uniforms based on textures/elements provided by Coni. This set matches "Pattern 1" from part 1, and is designed to be combined with it.

The set includes three types of military uniforms, in five male and five female sizes. There are two versions: Tooltipp'd (for those who don't have BSOK) and BSOK'd (for those who do). Please download only one version.

Combate Moderno was originally conceived by my super-friend, alpha tester, and collaborator Coni. She is currently writing a Spanish-language military sci-fi story and was in dire need of props and accessories. The rest of the post will be in Spanish, but feel free to leave questions and feedback in English as well.

Merrie Minstrels 3.5: On the March!

The Merrie Minstrels and Merrie Minstrels II: Meríminsutoreru are among my most popular and well-received projects. Everybody seems to enjoy the music-related projects, and they are great resources for storytellers.

I was really happy with the results of Merrie Minstrels III: Bittersweet Symphony, but somehow it seemed incomplete. This set is a companion piece to it. It's named 3.5 because it shares some of the overlays and accessories from III, but it's a standalone set. It adds a bunch of cool accessories, like saxophones, percussion, new stringed instruments, a bagpipe, and an accordion, as well as the overlays to go with them.

Midnight at the Quartermaster- Underwear Set 2

Happy Friday, folks.

About

A new underwear set for the Midnight overproject. Because your Sims can't be expected to walk around in their uniforms all day, here's some practical, comfortable underwear for them to relax in.

Overview

The Midnight overproject represents a return to my roots: sci-fi stuff. My original vision was much like Modular Furniture Series 4. I wanted to build a whole set of objects, walls and floors, and build mode elements that blend seamlessly with each other. The difference is that whereas MFS4 was utopian and clean-ish, Midnight is more gritty, for creating sinister, dystopian sets, and this clothing and accessory set is intended to be a reflection of/ complement that.

This set includes a partial set of new body meshes for all the standard Midnight body sizes. A lot of the nude/underwear body meshes out there seem to have über-pokey nips, and that didn't seem practical for underwear. Also, I'm a huge fan of Warlokk's Rio body shape, but it never got updated to X-Hi Res/Sexyfeet. Now that I have a bit more experience in editing body meshes, I tried to address these issues.

The downloads include six male and nine female underwear sizes for Command and Medical divisions, for YA-Elder. There are two versions available: Tooltipp'd and BSOK'd. Please download only one. The mesh pack is necessary, and must be downloaded separately.

I updated this set with the improved Musclegirl meshes for AG and BBG, but didn't feel like reshooting the whole scene. This is what the new meshes look like:

Because I'm something of an organization freak, I made sure everything was organized, binned, and categorized. There are two versions available to download: Tooltip'd and BSOK'd. Choose whichever you prefer.

The thumbnails pictured below are from the BSOK'd version.

You can find the everything at Sim File Share. Only select one version.

Midnight at the Quartermaster- Part 3

Happy Friday, folks.

About

Part 3 of the "regular clothing series. The command division is the division in charge of administration and sector operations for the space station.

This is a small set; it includes a command uniform in nine female and six male sizes, as well as a new belt accessory and command division rank pips.

Overview

The Midnight overproject represents a return to my roots: sci-fi stuff. The Project 2395 uniforms were good for the time that I made them, but I've learned a bit more about body meshing since then and these sets are intended to be an overall improvement.

The original meshes for the Syn's high boots are included. Additionally, I made custom meshes for the high boots using the FM, FitChick, Sussi, Rio, Momma Lisa, and Slim Male body sizes. The coveralls mesh is a bit of a patch job; it's a mashup of the uniform set and two Maxis meshes.

In the near future, there will be one or two command division-specific furniture sets, as well as some underwear.

Everything is organized neatly into subfolders, so you can quickly and easily remove anything you don´t like.

TOU has always been a thing for me. Respect mine and I'll respect yours.

I tried to comply with the TOU of the original creators. To my knowledge, all of the original creators either allow redistribution or have been inactive now for a long time.

First and foremost, SynapticSim for the high boot mesh that I used as a base for the modified clothing meshes, the LBB bodyshape,  as well as for the AF, LBB, SBBv2, BBv2, HBB, AG and BBG meshes included in the uniform folder (Syn's policy graciously allows redistribution), and probably another half-dozen things I'm forgetting. This project would simply not been possible without his original work. Syn, you are a god among Simmers.

Julie J for the July77 Slim Male edit and the Sussi edit. These were the base meshes I used for my new clothing meshes. You rock, Julie.

Marvine for the original groundwork that went into the Slim Bodybuilder (SBB), Bodybuilder (BB), Huge Bodybuilder (HBB), Athletic Girl (AG), and Bodybuilder Girl (BBG) body shapes.

Warlokk for the Fashion Model (FM), Rio, and CPU bodies

Poppeboy for the FitChick bodyshape

Franniesims for the original Momma Lisa bodyshape. Sigmund Sims for the blockfoot mesh that I modified to make the outfit meshes for Momma Lisa

July77 for the slim male mesh

SussiSoGoodSims for the Sussi bodyshape

More under the cut.

Midnight at the Mess Hall- Galley Essentials

Happy Friday, everybody!

Overview

The Midnight overproject represents a return to my roots: sci-fi stuff. My original vision was much like Modular Furniture Series 4. The difference is that whereas MFS4 was utopian and clean-ish, Midnight is more gritty, for creating sinister, dystopian sets. The objects are made from scratch by me, and thoroughly tested.

This is the third of probably four "neutral" (non-divisional) sets. Since the dining hall/kitchen/replimat set was such a huge undertaking, I broke it up into two parts. As per usual, it blends seamlessly with the objects from the other Midnight sets.

This is the long-awaited kitchen part of the mess hall set. This set is for build-to-suit kitchens and galleys.

The file includes:

Appliances: Functional cooking appliances, refrigerators, large and small appliances.

Bar: A bar and matching island counter, and a barstool.

Build Mode: A new double door with linked diagonal object.

Counters: A complete set of counters and deco headers.

Recolors: Three door glass recolors.

For this set, I've included two collection files: a file for Galley Essentials only, and a Megaset collection for every object in the Mess Hall set.

I've included the master objects for the base and monitor textures in a separate folder. You don't need them if you already have Midnight at the Cryo Lab installed.

Credits:

Lord Darcy for the fix of Targa's SupaFridge (the base object for the refrigerator)

Targa for the original work that went into the Supafridge
